Starting Dose (2.5mg)
All new patients start with 2.5mg for the first 4 weeks. This allows your body to adjust to the medication and minimizes side effects.
Dose Escalation
After 4 weeks, the dose is typically increased to 5mg. Your dose may continue to increase every 4 weeks based on your response and tolerance, up to a maximum of 15mg.
Maintenance Dose
Your maintenance dose will be determined by your nurse based on your weight loss progress, side effects, and individual needs. Not everyone needs to reach the maximum dose.
